Listen to your ART!

Creativity is essential to our well-being and our existence because we are creators by nature. That is why making art is such a potent tool when searching for wellness, healing, and wisdom. It is in the process of creating as well as in the artwork itself that our innermost world reveals itself to us. Once we are able to see it, we can intervene and act.
My mission is to help you discover the immense power of creating and listening to your art.
Art allows us to objectify the subjective.
That means we can transform feelings and emotions into something that we can actually see and touch. When this happens, we can start to think about changing it, transforming it, adapting it...the possibilities are endless.
The process of creating this object is in itself healing and restorative. Furthermore, both the art making and the finished piece provide you with insights about yourself and your surroundings which in turn will allow you to move ahead in your journey.
What people say:
"My experience with Making Art Heals was truly revealing and healing. What I liked most is that I was able to exteriorize an emotion that is hard to put into words and see visually what I'm feeling, materializing it and turning it into an artwork. Being able to see visually what I feel emotionally. Truly healing." Rosie, age 29
Bienveillante, empathique et énergisante, Vane a su créer un espace de confiance où j'ai pu exprimer librement ma créativité et me reconnecter á moi-même." Alix, age 35
The exercise made me realize change is not bad. Human nature has a nature has a tendency to resist change, whether in personal life or in work environment. Change can be beautiful, it is just evolution and the core is always there. That's what I learned. Actually, that's how it revealed itself to me. It was a sort of revelation and it worked! I may use it in coaching or in training others eventually. Excellent exercise, highly recommend it to everyone. Omar, age 54

Approach

My methods form part of a new approach to Psychology, originating in South America, called Liberation Psychology. This approach removes the focus and responsibility of distress that is put on the individual and places it directly in the context of an environment and social structure within which people must live.

In practical terms, this means that you are neither the problem, nor the victim nor the victimizer. Instead, you are an integral member of an existing community and as such, it is by exploring and learning within the reality of your people and surroundings that you will find your place and healing.

The aim of my work is to help you discover and release the power of your creativity to uncover the hidden, reveal the meaning and propose the healing.
